Diamonds from Heaven

During the pandemic, I started going through my recordings from the past 25 years and realized that there is this vast treasure trove of tracks that i had put aside for a rainy day and forgotten about. So I have decided to release these tracks as stand-alone singles releases every other month with "Diamonds from Heaven" being the first in a series of these releases. This incidentally was recorded in 1996 on analog tape at Studio Vibrations by Ephraim Issacs. It also features the late great Monojit Dutta(Kochu Da) on drums and percussion.
And I am delighted to share a bit of his playing in this song.

The track is a mix of acoustic jazz, to out and out high energy fusion jamming with some soft meditative passages that gives it an effervescent form.
